Sunday 5-31

I wanted to let everyone know that Tim came into church tonight. He stayed for the service which is something he hasn’t done in a long time. He came up to me before the service started and tapped me on my shoulder. When I looked at him he just smiled and said “I’m here!” Boy how I love that guy. He still looks very frail.

We had a dinner after morning service this morning. Meals like this are always so special. The door is open to anyone and everyone on the streets and people in the church. I think what makes it so cool is we all get to sit down and eat together. We just become one group of people.

A man was taken away in an ambulance this evening across the street from the church. We never did catch his name. Cowboy went over to see who it was and he said that he’s seen him in for breakfast but didn’t know his name. We at first thought it was Joe Joe. He’s been VERY drunk all day and the last I heard he fell again on the river walk and was found by a few others lying in a puddle of his own blood. Tom helped him sit up and we thought he might have gone down on the ground again.

It’s going to be a busy week. I hope to post more later on. Everyone have a wonderful Monday!
